Landing On Nirvana
Tahnok-Kal had been wandering around aimlessly for months. Half beaten, his armour smashed, his will broken, the Bohrok had nowhere to go but away. And so he wandered still, walking without thinking, footsteps the only thing keeping him alive. Only the odd sound of a scared animal or the gunshot of a nearby homo sapien could make him turn his head, and when he heard anything odd, Tahnok would simply quicken his pace.
And still Tahnok-Kal walked. Rain or shine, snow or wind or hail or sleet. Nothing stopped him. It was almost as if he didn't want to stop, punishing himself for any number of unknown crimes.
"Maybe I am punishing myself, maybe I am not?" Those very words echoed through Tahnok's mind as he walked on, like an evil mantra, a question never to be answered.
It had only been a few months previously when Tahnok was his normal self. His queens were in danger and it was his duty to save them. But in his way were not only the homo sapiens, but his own species. The look on his face when his brothers refused to help. Luckily all his brothers weren't so naive, and after a week of preparation, they were ready for their attack.
But it all turned into sheer hell when they were tricked by the homo sapiens into using some of their technology. All Tahnok could do was watch as his brothers were torn apart or captured. Nuhvok disappeared inside one of his black holes. Lehvak was thrown out of the cave and possibly into orbit. Gahlok was captured and later experimented on. Pahrak melted through the floor, down towards the centre of the earth. Kohrak apparently disappeared, nowhere to be seen.
Tahnok could not do anything to help his brothers as he was carried away and locked up by those homo sapiens.
When the time arrived, Tahnok escaped. It did not matter how, especially not to Tahnok. His own morales of not harming homo sapiens was thrown out in his hunger for freedom. But his time as a prisoner scarred him deep, sending him deeper and deeper into insanity and depression.
Back to now, and it seemed as though fate was no longer frowning at Tahnok-Kal, but smiling at him.
The Bohrok didn't notice the object until he tripped over it. Only scratching himself lightly, he turned to look at the object, which had created a small, blue portal in the ground.
"This was it... Freedom from my pain..." Tahnok-Kal thought as he grabbed the device and stepped into the glowing blue light...
It felt like a second to him, but it could have been hours. Above was a large, floating chunk of rock. To his left was a small, orange portal. All around were trees and mountains, and several small signs. Tahnok gazed at the largest sign and read it.
"L's Head Quarters, this way, 30km."
Picking up the weapon once more, the portal closed, and a small light flashed on the device. Holding it to his chest, the Bohrok started walking in the direction of 'L's HQ'...
